The Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF) is a bilateral cooperation fund established in 2012 by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the China Investment Corporation (CIC) to invest in opportunities linking Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and China. Since inception, RCIF has invested in over 45 projects across Russia, China, and the United States, with several portfolio companies completing IPOs on major international exchanges. In 2018, the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia contributed $500M, raising total capital to $2.5 billion.
