IBG Fund IV

IBG Fund IV (IBG Risikokapitalfonds IV) is a venture capital fund managed by IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH, a state-owned VC organization based in Magdeburg, Germany. Launched in late 2023 with a target volume of EUR 63.3 million, financed by the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the European Union, the fund invests in technology-oriented seed, start-up, and growth-stage companies located exclusively within Saxony-Anhalt. Individual investments can reach up to EUR 10 million, structured as minority shareholdings of up to 24.9% held for 5-7 years, typically as silent or open partnerships alongside private co-investors.
