Cyrus Capital Partners is a New York-based investment firm founded in 1999 by Stephen C. Freidheim, becoming independently owned in 2005. The firm invests across the entire capital structure of companies globally -- long and short positions in public and private debt, equity, and derivatives -- specializing in deep-value, legal- and process-oriented situations such as distressed debt and corporate restructurings. Its investment team draws on backgrounds in bankruptcy, restructuring, legal matters, private equity, and capital markets, managing capital for family offices, endowments, and institutional investors from offices in New York and London.
