It provided investment banking, private banking, wealth management, and asset management services to institutional, corporate, and private clients worldwide. In March 2023, following a period of financial distress, Credit Suisse was acquired by UBS Group AG in a government-brokered rescue deal, and the brand ceased to exist as a standalone entity by June 2024.
