Altamira Asset Management (also known as Altamira Investment Management) is a Spanish financial and real estate asset servicing firm originally created by Banco Santander to manage distressed and non-performing loan portfolios following the 2008 financial crisis. In June 2019, Italian NPL servicer doValue S.p.A. acquired an 85% stake, with Santander retaining a minority interest before fully exiting in 2023. Operating today as doValue en España under the Altamira brand for real estate servicing, the firm manages credit portfolios and real estate assets across Spain for banks, institutional investors, and private clients, and is part of doValue's roughly 140 billion euro AUM footprint spanning Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Cyprus.
