ZuriQ is a Zurich-based quantum hardware startup founded in 2024 as a spinout from ETH Zurich. The company is developing trapped-ion quantum computers with a novel 2D reconfigurable architecture that enables scalable qubit expansion beyond the limitations of existing 1D systems. ZuriQ raised $4.2M in seed funding in January 2025 led by Founderful.
