Zip Infrastructure Co., Ltd. is a Japanese mobility technology company developing 'Zippar,' an autonomous self-driving ropeway system designed for urban transportation. Unlike traditional ropeways, Zippar features an independent rope and carrier mechanism that enables curves and branching routes, making it suitable for city streets and last-mile connectivity. At approximately one-fifth the cost of monorail construction, Zippar is positioned as an affordable, low-carbon alternative to conventional transit infrastructure.
