X Square Robot (自变量机器人) is a Shenzhen-based embodied AI company developing general-purpose robots with high-precision manipulation capabilities. Founded in December 2023, the company is one of China's first to build a fully end-to-end embodied intelligence foundation model. Their flagship WALL model series (WALL-A, WALL-B, WALL-OSS) powers humanoid robots capable of complex long-horizon manipulation, zero-shot generalization, and mobile dexterous tasks. The company's Quanta X1 and X2 humanoid robots have achieved early commercial deployment in industrial manufacturing, logistics, elderly care, and smart home sectors. X Square Robot reached a $2.8B valuation after four funding rounds and has been backed by Alibaba ($100M+), ByteDance, Sequoia China, Meituan, Lightspeed China, Legend Capital, IDG Capital, and Xiaomi. The company has open-sourced three embodied AI frameworks and established China's first open-source ecosystem for embodied intelligence foundation models.
