Wyndham International

Wyndham International was a major publicly traded hotel management and ownership company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, that operated a large portfolio of upscale and full-service hotels and resorts under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand. The brand was founded in 1981 by real estate developer Trammell Crow, and the entity known as Wyndham International was formed in 1998 when Patriot American Hospitality acquired the chain and adopted the Wyndham name. In 2005, the Blackstone Group acquired Wyndham International and took it private; the Wyndham brand and associated assets were subsequently absorbed into Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (now Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, NYSE: WH).
