WorldStrides is the largest educational travel company in the United States, founded in 1964 by Phil Wendel, a middle school social studies teacher who witnessed the transformative impact of immersive educational travel. The company offers educational tours, study abroad programs, performing arts experiences, language immersion, service learning, internships, and career exploration for K-12 and university students. WorldStrides serves over 530,000 students annually across more than 100 countries and is privately held by The Carlyle Group, Charlesbank Capital Partners, and Silverhawk Capital Partners. In December 2024, WorldStrides earned B Corp certification.
