World Central Kitchen

World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a nonprofit humanitarian organization founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés that is first to the frontlines providing fresh, chef-prepared meals in response to natural disasters, climate crises, and community emergencies around the world. WCK has delivered hundreds of millions of meals across dozens of countries, deploying local chefs and food systems to nourish survivors and rebuild communities after earthquakes, hurricanes, conflict, and displacement. The organization operates a model that activates quickly, partners with local restaurants and food businesses, and treats food relief as a matter of dignity and recovery, not just sustenance.
