Watcha (왓챠) is a South Korean subscription video-on-demand and over-the-top (OTT) streaming platform founded in September 2011 by Park Tae-hun, offering films, television series, variety shows, documentaries, and animations. The service launched its OTT platform in January 2016 and expanded internationally, reaching second place in user satisfaction in both South Korea and Japan at its peak. Watcha also operates Watcha Pedia, a companion movie review and rating app. In August 2025, the company entered corporate rehabilitation proceedings after creditor Enlight Ventures filed following Watcha's failure to refinance 49 billion won in convertible bonds.
