Vurve

Vurve, which later rebranded to Lexity, was a Mountain View, California-based e-commerce marketing platform founded in 2009 by Amit Kumar, a former Yahoo product management director. The company operated a gallery of e-commerce apps designed to help small online businesses build brand awareness, increase traffic, and improve sales through a one-stop-shop marketplace of marketing and analytics tools. Lexity offered merchants easy access to SEO, retargeting, and social commerce applications without requiring technical expertise, making sophisticated e-commerce marketing accessible to independent retailers and small brands. In July 2013, Yahoo acquired Lexity as part of CEO Marissa Mayer's acquisition strategy, with all services continuing to run post-acquisition.
