Delivering on the promise of self-driving cars
Voyage (Voyage Auto) was a self-driving vehicle company founded in 2017 in Palo Alto, California. Spun out of Udacity's self-driving car program, the company built autonomous transportation services for retirement communities in California and Florida, operating driverless vehicles at speeds up to 25 mph on point-to-point routes. Voyage raised a $31M Series B led by Franklin Templeton with participation from Chevron Technology Ventures, Khosla Ventures, and InMotion Ventures. The company was acquired by Cruise in March 2021.
