Vita Health delivered acute, virtual behavioral healthcare specializing in suicide risk reduction, pairing telehealth sessions with trained suicide-care experts and a behavior-change support app, later expanding into general mental health therapy and medication management. Founded in 2021, its clinically validated approach was shown to reduce suicide attempts by more than 60% and deaths by over 80%, serving adults, adolescents, college students, and veterans through partnerships with national payers, providers, employers, and universities. In June 2025, Vita Health was acquired by Valera Health to expand access to suicide-prevention services.
