The company is the technology backbone of the U.S. insurance distribution industry, providing purpose-built software systems to independent agents, carriers, and managing general agents (MGAs). Its flagship products include AMS360 and QQCatalyst (agency management systems), Sircon (producer licensing and compliance), PL Rating and Commercial Submissions (rating and quoting), ImageRight (workflow management), RiskMatch (analytics and market intelligence), and AgencyZoom (client engagement). Vertafore's platform serves 98 of the top 100 insurance agencies and 96 of the top 100 carriers in the United States, handling over 200 million annual rating transactions and 50% of all industry producer-compliance transactions. The company has over 950 engineers and 1,000+ open APIs connecting its ecosystem of 50+ partners. Vertafore was acquired by private equity firm TPG Capital and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 2016, and subsequently acquired by Roper Technologies (Nasdaq: ROP) in 2020 for approximately $5.35 billion.
