Vana

Vana is an open-source, permissionless protocol for portable, user-owned personal data. Users hold their data in a personal server and grant access through the Vana protocol, enabling their data to be moved between applications with full user consent and control. Developers can build applications on a live layer of user-owned, portable data — with over 1 million users having connected data to the network. The platform includes data collectives where users pool and stake their data, data token trading via DataDex, and tools for AI developers to access consented datasets through TensorSource. Vana shifts the model from data extraction by platforms to user participation in the value their data generates.
