Valarian

Valarian builds sovereign AI infrastructure through its ACRA platform, giving government, defence, and enterprise organisations control over their AI agents, models, and data. Founded in 2020, the company emerged from building secure software for environments where control was non-negotiable — privileged communications, external communications capture, secure collaboration, and AI deployments. ACRA turns Kubernetes into a hardened, governed environment where every workload (agent, model, or service) runs inside an isolated enclave with cryptographic workload identity, default-deny network isolation, policy enforcement, short-lived scoped secrets, and full auditability. Customers hold their own keys so even Valarian cannot access deployed systems. ACRA runs identically across AWS, Azure, on-prem, and air-gapped estates. The company is backed by NEA, Scout Ventures, Artis Ventures, Lightbank, XTX Ventures, IQ Capital, and Molten Ventures, and has raised $70M to date including a $50M Series A in July 2026.
