Upscale AI is a pure-play AI networking company founded in 2025, spun out of semiconductor firm Auradine. The company builds next-generation networking infrastructure for AI workloads, focusing on the scale-up interconnect layer between GPU clusters. Upscale AI is a founding member of the Ultra Accelerator Link (UALink) consortium and is developing an AI-native UALink interconnect switch optimized for GenAI inference and training. Led by co-founders Barun Kar (CEO, formerly Palo Alto Networks) and Rajiv Khemani (Executive Chairman, formerly Innovium/Cavium), the company raised a $100M seed round and a $200M Series A in January 2026, achieving unicorn status.
