Universal Diagnostics S.A. (UDX) is a Spanish in-vitro diagnostics company developing minimally-invasive, blood-based solutions for detecting cancer early — when treatment options are more plentiful and survival rates are highest. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Seville, Spain (with a US office in Dallas, Texas), UDX has built a multi-omics and machine learning platform to detect multiple cancer types — including colorectal, prostate, liver, pancreatic, lung, and breast cancer — from a single blood draw. The company has partnered with Quest Diagnostics to bring its liquid biopsy screening technology to the US market, and has received financing from the European Investment Bank to advance its diagnostic test pipeline.
