About

Twenty20 was a crowdsourced stock photography marketplace with a library of over 45 million royalty-free photos. Founded in 2013 as Instacanvas (a service to print Instagram photos on canvas), the company rebranded as Twenty20 in October 2013 and pivoted to become a crowdsourced stock photography platform for social and digital advertising. Photographers uploaded images via a mobile app; top photos entered a curated Signature Collection or won themed contests. Twenty20 offered both à la carte and subscription access to brand and agency buyers, paying photographers higher-than-average revenue shares. The company was acquired by Envato Elements in 2019 and subsequently shut down on July 31, 2022.
