Tubulis

Tubulis is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for the treatment of solid and hematologic tumors. Founded in 2019 in Munich, Germany by Dr. Dominik Schumacher and Dr. Jonas Helma-Smets — both formerly group leaders at Ludwig Maximillian University — the company developed a proprietary ADC platform designed to generate uniquely matched conjugates with superior biophysical properties, delivering durable on-tumor activity and long-lasting anti-tumor effects in preclinical models. Tubulis' lead pipeline programs include TUB-040 (targeting NaPi2b) and TUB-030 (directed against 5T4), both in clinical evaluation for high-need solid tumor indications. The company raised over €308M in its Series C financing round in October 2025 to advance TUB-040 into Phase I/IIa trials. In April 2026, Gilead Sciences announced an agreement to acquire Tubulis in a deal worth up to $5 billion.
