Triple W

TripleW is an Israeli circular-economy company founded in 2016 that converts food waste into high-value lactic acid and polylactic acid (PLA) bioplastic. Using a proprietary biochemical fermentation process, TripleW treats abundantly available food waste as a third-generation renewable feedstock, diverting organic material from landfills while generating green jobs. The company's technology can be deployed globally wherever food waste is generated, and it also enables chemical recycling of PLA bioplastic back into its patented process. R&D activities are based in Israel and Belgium, with partnerships spanning waste management, food and beverage, plastics, retail, and brand-owner sectors.
