Triple N Oyster Farm, LLC operates a hatchery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana that produces diploid and triploid Gulf oyster seed, marketed locally as 'Coco-dips.' Founded by Dr. Steve Pollock and originally based in Grand Isle, Louisiana, the company relocated its hatchery operations to Baton Rouge and has been in business for roughly a decade. As an LSU Innovation Park tenant, Triple N combines coastal aquaculture tradition with AgTech methods, including sterile triploid oysters that stay meatier year-round, and has received USDA SBIR Phase I and Phase II awards to scale its off-bottom aquaculture techniques.
