Transient Plasma Systems (TPS) is a USC spinout that develops, designs, and manufactures nanosecond pulsed power systems for industrial, commercial, defense, and academic applications. TPS uses nanosecond pulsed power to unlock previously inaccessible capabilities of plasma — enabling applications in surface treatment, filtration, cleaning, and coatings without the need for vacuum chambers or high energy demand. Founded with over a decade of R&D support from the Department of Defense, TPS translates its core pulsed power technology into commercial and military products, working collaboratively with clients to design solutions to real-world industrial and defense challenges.
