TileDB

TileDB is a foundational database technology company that builds a universal data platform for scientific and enterprise data teams. Its core engine structures all data types — including dense and sparse multi-dimensional arrays, genomics data, geospatial data, and machine learning datasets — into a single system. TileDB enables teams to catalog, organize, govern, and analyze data at scale, supporting use cases in life sciences (single-cell genomics, multiomics), geospatial intelligence, and machine learning. The platform integrates compute with storage, allowing scientists and data engineers to run analysis directly against their data without complex ETL pipelines. TileDB was founded at MIT and Intel Labs and spun out as an independent company in 2017.
