Superlight

Superlight (trading as Bristol Superlight) is a UK-based commercial electric vehicle manufacturer founded in 2015 by Noamaan and Sheban Siddiqi. The company designs and builds purpose-built medium-duty electric trucks for middle-mile logistics—the transport segment between regional distribution centers and local sorting facilities. Its OV-1 vehicle employs a clean-sheet design with all-digital powertrain, aerospace-grade composite materials, and over 70 proprietary inventions, achieving 50% more cargo capacity and 50% lower energy consumption than comparable 7.5-tonne competitors. The platform includes digital twin factory monitoring (SuperVisor) and autonomous logistics optimization. Superlight's team brings experience from Bentley Motors, DENSO, Porsche, and Microsoft, and the company raised a $21M Series A in 2026 co-led by Engine Ventures and 2150.
