Supercritical Solutions

Supercritical Solutions is a London-based clean energy technology company pioneering a new class of membraneless electrolyser for the production of high-pressure, high-purity green hydrogen. The company's novel electrolyser design eliminates the need for membranes, rare earth metals, iridium, and PFAS chemicals, using instead mass-manufactured industrial metals for lower cost, higher reliability, and near-complete recyclability. The system delivers hydrogen at up to 220 bara pressure and 99.999 mol% purity, eliminating the need for downstream gas compressors in most applications. Supercritical has partnered with Shell and secured UK government funding for projects spanning green ammonia production, whisky distillery decarbonization, and zero-emissions mining.
