Staria

Staria Technologies, S.L. is a Spanish manufacturer of autonomous solar street lighting, founded in 2021 in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Barcelona by Sergi Roig Guillamon, Miguel Domingo Lodeiro, and Gerard Barragan, and backed by Sherry Ventures and Alhambra Venture. The company notes that of Spain's roughly 15 million streetlights only about 0.1% are solar-powered, despite Spain having the EU's most sunlight hours and highest public-lighting electricity costs. Staria's CE- and IP66-rated luminaires require no cabling or grid connection, are managed through proprietary control software, and are marketed as zero-emission and 99% recyclable. Its COMPACT, SAT, NOVA, LUXIA, and INFINITY product lines serve municipalities, highways, rural areas, parking lots, and urban public spaces, with installations across Spain and international projects including South Korea and Morocco.
