Stanley Robotics

Stanley Robotics is a Paris-based robotics company founded in 2015 by Clement Boussard and Aurelien Cord, both PhD robotics researchers. The company developed Stan, the world's first outdoor autonomous valet parking robot, which uses a fleet management system to lift, transport, and park standard vehicles without requiring any vehicle modification. Stanley Robotics has deployed its technology at major airports including Lyon Saint-Exupery, London Gatwick, and Basel-Mulhouse, and has expanded into finished vehicle logistics for automotive compounds. In 2021, the company formed a strategic partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for Asia-Pacific expansion. In 2025, Stanley Robotics was acquired by HL Robotics, the robotics arm of South Korea's HL Group.
