Founded in 2010 as Orbotix, Sphero became widely known for its BB-8 Star Wars robot before pivoting to focus on STEM education. Its product lineup includes the Sphero BOLT, Mini, RVR, and indi robots, all programmable via JavaScript or block-based coding apps.
