SoleSafe

SoleSafe is an insurance and community management platform for sneakers that embeds coverage into the retail checkout experience. Its Sneaker Insurance and package-protection products cover in-transit theft, accidental damage, doorstep theft, and post-delivery risks for Shopify stores and other retailers, brands, marketplaces, and brokers. Merchants install the SoleSafe Shopify app to offer coverage at checkout, share premium revenue, and lower store risk on lost or damaged packages. Founder Phil Terrill announced that Vertical Insure acquired SoleSafe's insurance business so collectors can still buy protection at the point of need.
