SlimPay

SlimPay is a European fintech company and licensed Payment Institution specializing in recurring and subscription payment collection via account-to-account (A2A) payment methods. Founded in 2009 in Paris by Jérôme Traisnel and Jean-Louis Hoenen, SlimPay was the first approved payment institution in France focused exclusively on recurring payments. The platform enables businesses to digitalize SEPA direct debit mandate creation, collect recurring payments with automated retry on failure, and manage subscriber activity through an API or intuitive dashboard. SlimPay serves mid-market and enterprise clients across Europe in sectors including media, energy, nonprofits, and staffing. In August 2023, Trustly, a global open banking payment company, acquired SlimPay to expand recurring payment capabilities across Southern Europe.
