Skydweller is a pioneering transatlantic aerospace manufacturer building a fleet of the world's largest autonomous, uncrewed, solar-powered aircraft. Each Skydweller aircraft is constructed from carbon fiber, features a wingspan the size of a 747, can carry up to 800 pounds of payload, and is capable of uncrewed perpetual flight — staying aloft for 90 days or more at altitudes up to 45,000 feet. Skydweller has enabled perpetual flight by combining proprietary innovations in artificial intelligence and advanced aerospace systems with advances in solar energy, battery storage, and large carbon fiber manufacturing. Its aircraft are designed for long-duration missions including maritime domain awareness, intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), non-terrestrial communications, and emergency services. The company has received 13 SBIR/STTR awards from the Department of Defense and NASA, and successfully demonstrated perpetual flight in partnership with the U.S. Navy in 2025.
