The company launched as a shapewear brand focused on inclusive sizing across a wide range of skin tones and body types, subsequently expanding into underwear, loungewear, swimwear, and menswear. SKIMS became the official underwear brand of Team USA for the 2024 Olympics and partnered with Nike in 2025 to launch NikeSKIMS.
