Founded by Shwen Ho, a PhD in Computational Biology, Sinhke developed proprietary hardware and software that quantifies shrimp larvae health at scale by leveraging the discovery that healthy larvae react differently to light than diseased ones. The platform replaces inconsistent manual inspections with real-time, data-driven health monitoring, enabling farmers to take early corrective action. In Vietnam alone, the shrimp hatchling market is worth $500 million, with only a 40% success rate under traditional methods. Sinhke's technology targets an 80% larvae survival rate, potentially saving farmers approximately $1.5 billion annually in larvae costs across Southeast Asia. The company was selected among the top 6% of global applicants for the Net Zero Challenge 2024 and is a finalist for TechPlanter Vietnam.
