SimbaPay

SimbaPay is a London-based fintech founded in 2015 by Nyasinga Onyancha. Licensed and regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, the company operates a mobile app that enables UK and European residents to send money to Africa — including Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, and Burundi — via M-Pesa, bank account transfers, and mobile money networks. SimbaPay was the first platform to enable international access to M-Pesa PayBill services and was an early mover in Kenya-to-China WeChat transfers via a partnership with Family Bank. The company won DEMO Africa 2015 and has processed transfers across multiple corridors. It is headquartered at Google Campus, Bonhill Street, London.
