Shuttl is India's largest office commute service provider, founded in 2015 with a mission to solve the pain of daily urban commuting. The company offers space-efficient, safe, and cost-effective shared bus services for corporate employees, operating a technology-powered platform that enables bus owners to access better financing, training, and route optimization tools. Shuttl simultaneously addresses urban congestion and pollution by catalyzing a shift from private vehicles to shared mobility. At its peak, Shuttl served over 100,000 rides daily across seven Indian cities including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad, operating 350+ routes with a fleet of 2,000 buses. The company is backed by Sequoia Capital, Amazon Alexa Fund, Lightspeed Ventures, Times Internet, Dentsu Ventures, Toyota Tsusho, and SPARX Group, and has received the UK Ashden Award (2018) and FICCI Road Safety Award (2017). Shuttl was subsequently acquired.
