The platform connects members with personal shoppers who fulfill and deliver orders from retailers including Target, Costco, CVS, Kroger, Publix, and dozens of others. Shipt soft-launched in Birmingham in November 2014, expanded to 27 metro areas by 2016, and raised $20 million in Series A funding from Greycroft Partners before being acquired by Target Corporation for $550 million in December 2017.
