Seedsight is a Portuguese deeptech spin-off from INESC TEC, incubated at UPTEC (Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto). The company has built a platform combining biomolecular analysis, optical fiber sensing, and AI to create a comprehensive digital library of seed and cereal grain signatures. This enables agri-food businesses to verify seed quality, reduce waste, and make data-driven sourcing and processing decisions in real time. Seedsight raised €1.78 million in 2025 to expand its platform and address food system sustainability challenges.
