Scout AI is a Sunnyvale-based frontier AI laboratory founded in 2024 by former tech PE executive Colby Adcock (CEO) and Collin Otis (CTO), a founding engineer at Kodiak Robotics. The company develops Fury — a vision-language-action (VLA) foundation model that transforms uncrewed ground, air, sea, and space platforms into intelligent, collaborative teammates for the U.S. military and allied partners. Scout AI emerged from stealth in 2025 with a $15M seed round led by Align Ventures and Booz Allen Ventures, and has been selected for multiple DoD contracts including an Army UxS Autonomy Contract and the xTechOverwatch Competition.
