Anchor is a New York-based autonomous billing and collections platform for accounting firms and professional-services businesses. Founded in 2021 by CEO Rom Lakritz, the company replaces manual invoicing with a live online agreement between vendor and client that covers the full cycle: proposals, engagement letters, invoicing, payment collection and reconciliation are generated and executed automatically once services are delivered, removing the manual labour and fraud exposure of conventional AR workflows. Anchor charges no subscription, instead taking a flat $5 per payment received, with unlimited users, clients, proposals and invoices. The company raised a $15 million seed round in December 2021 led by Rapyd Ventures, Entree Capital and Tal Ventures, followed by a $20 million Series A announced in January 2025 led by Mosaic General Partnership and Zeev Ventures founding partner Oren Zeev, with Entree Capital and Tal Ventures following on. It reports more than 500% growth in 2024 and is used by over 21,000 US accounting firms and professional-services owners. Anchor maintains an R&D centre in Israel.
