Roleshare

Roleshare was a London-based HR technology platform founded in 2021 by Sophie Smallwood and Dave Smallwood that brought the sharing economy model to employment. The platform matched skilled professionals seeking part-time opportunities with each other so they could jointly apply for and share full-time positions, enabling companies to retain employees wanting flexible arrangements. Roleshare supported matching based on skills, experience, and intent, and offered an enterprise platform for organizations to attract diverse talent. The company was backed by London Business School Incubator (2019), PeopleTech Partners (2021), and Techstars (2021), and raised a seed round of $1.2M in September 2022. Roleshare was featured in World Economic Forum reports, MIT Sloan Management Review, and named among Silicon Republic's 9 European future-of-work startups for 2022. The company ceased operations in August 2023.
