Rio Grande LNG is NextDecade Corporation's liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility located on the north shore of the Brownsville Ship Channel near Brownsville, Texas. The project is designed for approximately 48 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG production capacity across up to ten trains, with multiple trains currently under construction. Rio Grande LNG is expected to create thousands of construction jobs and approximately 700 long-term operational jobs in the Rio Grande Valley, while delivering lower-carbon-intensity LNG to global markets and supporting global energy security.
