Stonepeak acquired a 46.3% stake in Repsol's 777 MW operating solar and battery storage portfolio across Texas and New Mexico for $340 million, valuing the assets at approximately $795 million including prior tax-equity proceeds. The portfolio includes the 632 MW Frye solar project in Swisher County, Texas (completed 2024) and the Jicarilla solar and storage complex in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico (125 MW solar, 20 MW/80 MWh storage). The deal, Repsol's first US renewables partnership, closed in Q3 2025 as part of its broader asset-rotation strategy.
