Regate was a French SaaS accounting and financial automation platform founded in 2019 by Alexis Renard and Laura Pallier, designed to help SMEs and accounting firms automate invoice processing, accounts payable and receivable, payment scheduling, and bookkeeping reconciliation through direct integrations with accounting software such as Sage, Cegid, and ACD. The company attracted 10,000 SME clients and 500 accounting firms before being acquired by Paris-based business banking unicorn Qonto in March 2024 for an undisclosed sum as part of Qonto's strategy to build an all-in-one finance platform for small businesses. At the time of acquisition Regate had grown revenue 3x in 2023 and employed approximately 100 people, all of whom joined Qonto under a new business unit focused on accountant-facing financial tools.
