The company completed a going-private merger in December 2023, becoming RealNetworks LLC. Today it applies AI and machine learning across four product lines: SAFR (AI facial recognition for physical security), RealPlayer (video management and playback), Kontxt (AI-powered mobile messaging security), and GameHouse (casual games). In February 2026, TransUnion announced a definitive agreement to acquire RealNetworks' mobile division to enhance voice and messaging solutions.
