Rabot Energy (formerly Rabot Charge, operating as RABOT Energy DE GmbH from Hopfenmarkt 33 in Hamburg) is an independent German green-electricity supplier built around dynamic, load-variable tariffs. Instead of a fixed price, it passes hourly wholesale market prices through to customers, and its app shows real-time electricity prices and renewable-generation data so households can shift consumption - charging an EV, running a heat pump or a home battery - into the cheapest and greenest hours. The company markets dedicated EV, heat-pump and smart-meter tariffs plus a home energy management product and apartment battery storage, and also serves business customers. Its stated vision is "smart energy for everyone": transparent, simple and fair energy where a smart algorithm handles optimization automatically. The team combines energy-market specialists with machine learning, data analysis and product expertise, and the company runs offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich. Founded in 2021 by Jan Rabe and Maximilian Both, it is backed by investors including High-Tech Gruenderfonds, yabeo and Bosch Ventures.
