Raana Semiconductors

Raana Semiconductors is India's only private company growing single crystals using the Czochralski process, the foundational technology that powers the global semiconductor, solar, and defence industries. Established in 2015 to make India self-reliant in single crystal growth, the company engineers and supplies indigenous Czochralski, Bridgman, and Float Zone systems for research and production environments. It has developed silicon, germanium, Nd:YAG, and lithium niobate crystals and has worked with BARC, IGCAR, DRDO, and MeitY. Customers include government laboratories and defence programs, and the company supplies crystal growth systems for facilities that need in-house production.
