Qwiki was a New York City-based startup co-founded in 2010 by Doug Imbruce and Louis Monier (inventor of AltaVista). It debuted at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2010, winning the Disrupt Cup with a product that generated narrated multimedia video summaries from search queries.
